The zombie apocalypse is a hypothetical possibility of the complete anhilliation of the human race, by being all killed and turned into zombies. This is completely impossible, as all the zombies that are currently in existence have been liquidized and sprinkled liberally in the Oort cloud, so we are completely safe unless there is a meteorite from the Oort cloud itself, which is exceedingly unlikely, as the majority of meteorites do actually come from the Oort cloud anyway.
