Unbiquadium (Ubq) is an element.

Unbiquadium was first synthesized in 2006 by GANIL in France:
U-238 > Ge-Nat = Ubq-308-314
and later by ALPI/Legnaro in 2006:
Th-232 > Se-80 = Ubq-312
Ubq is not recognised as a legitimate element as it fissioned before the IUPAC element half-life limit (10^-18 s).
Stabilization[edit | edit source]
Ubq appears to have a stabilizing effect, being 1 of the 2 post-Oganesson elements that has been created. The other is Ubn (120).
This could mean that the tip of the island of stability is at 124 istead of 114 a previously thought.
