University of Hamburg

The University of Hamburg is a college where you learn how to cook hamburgers.

Despite hamburgers being the Stereotypical Dish of the United States of America, the university is actually located in Germany. It was founded after the Second World War during the American occupation (to teach American occupations, heehee, that was a pun).

History

The University of Hamburg was involved in a secret CIA project during the Cold War to send hamburgers to the Soviet Union. After a couple attempts the project was quietly dropped, and the only reason we know about it today is that some of the participants forgot to destroy their documentation afterwards. These days the only people who talk about it are nutcases.
