Upside down

The circumstance of "upside down" refers to the case of something that is turned over so that the bottom is at the top and the top is at the bottom. Many objects, such as a vehicle, if turned upside down will result in some sort of damage, often pretty serious. Other objects, such as a piece of pipe or an LP record, don't even have an upside down, so therefore it doesn't matter what side you turn them. Also, some things can be upside down and are meant to be that way, such as upside down artificial Christmas trees!
