Talk:Pugs

Wild horses couldn't convince me to edit this article -- it's 'way too political. But for the IP who recently objected that "people don't eat pugs" I recommend this article on National Geographic's site, in which they observe that the market in Yulin sported signs offering "locally grown pugs" as well as "freshly killed black dogs" (apparently "black dog" is another Chinese breed?). Unless these were being snapped up by necromancers for conversion into dog-zombies I think it's pretty likely they were being eaten.

And the thing with the fireworks is really pretty tame compared with some of the stuff they actually do to animals there (but I will spare the sensibilities of the readers and not include any yet more extreme links).
