What yooze think of the new series? (note: Americans may be missing out) --bob 18:22, 30 Serpeniver 2009 (UTC)
- I thought it was very good, but it was never gonna beat the original series. For a start, I'm not sure about that bloke with the weird name and glasses, and the club singer round isn't as funny as I remember it being. The challenges have been good so far, though! Last episode tonight, I believe. -- Hindleyak Converse • ?blog • Click here! 18:33, 30 Serpeniver 2009 (UTC)
- Do you think some of their stuff is weirder than our weirdness? Maybe surrealism differs depending on the medium? --bob 18:52, 30 Serpeniver 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, written surrealism is a bit different from visual surrealism, I think. You have a lot more explaining to do with writing, whereas on television you could just pull out a massive didgeridoo and thrust it in someone's face. There's still an element of making it up as you go along. Anyhow, I think that whole surrealism thing was a lot bigger in the 90s than it is now. If Illogic was around in those days it would have been the Shooting Stars of the Internet. - Yes, but I would only be a newborn child. Then you wouldn't have my beef flinging sheep, as they are very lemon scented!
- Can you get BBC i player in amerryca? --bob 11:32, 1 Octodest 2009 (UTC)
- I don't think so, as far as I know, since they don't pay the BBC a license fee. YouTube, you tube? -- Hindleyak Converse • ?blog • Click here! 12:05, 1 Octodest 2009 (UTC)
- We (at least I do with digital cable) get this gay BBC America channel. It's like Doctor Who 25 hours a day. --T3 00:07, 8 Octodest 2009 (UTC)
- Does BBC America still show Monty Python? They used to. It was great. They showed the british version of whose line too. --THE 00:15, 8 Octodest 2009 (UTC)
- Doesn't BBC America consist of really bad, boring dramas and such? I saw it on Family Guy once... Also, isn't Top Gear on that channel? I hear that's quite popular where you are. -- Hindleyak Converse • ?blog • Click here! 10:37, 8 Octodest 2009 (UTC)
- In America we have foot longs for our hot dogs... I'm not Amezzican. Sorry. Just wanted to join in. Top Gear is shown on that channel I believe. Some American person told me. They know their TV. Unless I'm mistaken and I made that up. Probably the latter. DG |Chatty Chaps| 22:50, 14 Octodest 2009 (UTC)
