OS-oid

An OS-oid is a product from a marketing company that resembles an Operating System, but is not quite that. Typical OS-oids will enable the users of computer systems to have frequent breaks, by presenting a beautiful blue screen, thus reducing RSI and overconcentration on the work by computer users. The typical computer with an OS-oid will have many worms and viruses, which make these computers more vivid and fertile, pretty much like the way soil is made more fertile by the work of worms and micro-organisms.
