For those who can't handle the real truth, the spinners of fake truth at Wikipedia have a thoroughly boring article on Sink.

A sink is a high tech bowl-shaped fixture with a faucet that dispenses and collects water at the same time. Rather ingeniously, its interior is bowl-shaped to facilitate this capturing process. If it was a flat surface, the drain situated at the bottom of the bowl would collect less water since some of the dispensed water would be spread across its flat surface area. Additionally, a sink can dispense this water at different rates; the higher the handle, the more water will appear. This handle can also manipulate the temperature of the water.

Intelligent great apes commonly use these fixtures to obtain water for a variety of purposes. For example, one may use a sink to cleanse their hands, clean objects, or take water elsewhere.

How to operate a sink to wash your hands[edit | edit source]

  1. Approach the fixture in an orderly fashion, and stop approximately 3 or 4 inches before you make physical contact with the sink.
  2. Reach your right hand out at a reasonable pace, touch the handle of the faucet, and move the handle until the water appears.
  3. Now, carefully place both hands under the sink after a reasonable temperature has been found.
  4. Extract at least pump of soap from a nearby soap dispenser, and rinse your own hands in it for 30 seconds or more.
  5. Now, operate a air dryer, towel, or simply dry your hands given time to return to normal.
