"Apologetics" means "a reasoned defense of the faith" - well at least for classical apologists. Apologists are those blokes who get in debates with atheists, ya know? Well this here is making a pun, that it is more literally what it sounds like in English - saying you're sorry. Not very clever really, but whatever.
