You made an article about this? danny!Text 07:24, 27 Octodest 2017 (UTC)
- And why not? I’m curious about what possible objection anyone could have. (kaizum me) 11:02, 27 Octodest 2017 (UTC)
- Just asking. danny!Text 19:15, 27 Octodest 2017 (UTC)
- Aw. I was looking forward to a deep, soul shaking discussion about the suitability of this topic for an article. I could have used the Chewbacca defense, just like That episode of South Park. Then I’d have run rings ‘round you logically with the penguin on top of the television set. What’s it doing there? Standing. Maybe it’s from next door. Penguins don’t come from next door, they come from the Antarctic. Burma! Why did you say Burma? I panicked. Maybe it’s from the zoo. If it was from the zoo, it’d have “property of the zoo” stamped on it. No it wouldn’t, you can’t stamp a huge lion. They stamp them when they’re small. What happens when they molt? Lions don’t molt. No, but penguins do! (kaizum me) 21:51, 27 Octodest 2017 (UTC)
- Burma's the one that became Malaysia, right? I bet a Malaysian insurance company would stamp a lion. CG098 (talk ₪ contribs) 22:05, 27 Octodest 2017 (UTC)
- Close, but no. It is now Myanmar. I hope the food hasn’t changed. I love me some Burmese (Myanmaranian?). Food. (kaizum me) 22:54, 27 Octodest 2017 (UTC)
- Awesome! No cigar! Is Burmese cuisine similar to Thai cuisine? There's a restaurant called Mandalay Asian Cuisine at a mall in the same county I live in, but its Facebook page says it's a Thai restaurant. CG098 (talk ₪ contribs) 03:39, 29 Octodest 2017 (UTC)
- Like much of Southeast Asia, there are similarities and differences among the nations and ethnic groups of the area. I'm am no expert, but I do know there are signature dishes from every region as well as some things, like noodle dishes and such, cross borders with little variation. My favorite restaurant ever, now closed, was run by a Thai woman and her ex-gi husband. The tried to recreate dishes you;d find in an open air market, from what I was told. Whatever they did, I always walked out of the place feeling somehow a little lighter, spiritually. I see I didn't answer your question, really. Apologies. I'm doing a course I bought online recently to learn how to be a more better sound recording type dude, and I'll probably be up overnight watching my wife for anything weird; she's been having trouble stabilizing her diabetes, which has been characterized by our doctor as, "there's something weird going on here. TMI, probably. Again, apologies and inebriations of the highest order. I'd say I'm not myself, but here I am, blathering on about nothing on Illogicopedia. I will end with a quote from the television show /archer: "I can't hear you over the deafening sound of my own awesomeness". Again, most sincere apologies for having wasted your time. Cheers! - Sounded insightful, actually. I hope whatever's going on with your wife isn't too serious. CG098 (talk ₪ contribs) 19:18, 29 Octodest 2017 (UTC)
- Well, diabetes can be serious when not controlled. Funny thing about her; she’s a walking textbook example of a medical paradox. Most medications produce the opposite effect in her, so that’s always interesting. So naturally her diabetes has to be weird. She’ll eat something that should spike her sugar and it drops, and vice versa. Some of her readings get dangerously low, so we all keep an eye on her. She’s doing well with everyone pulling for her.
