The Shin and Mariko is a progressive rock band from the U.S. state of Georgia. In 2014, they impersonated a Kansas band in order to gain admission to the Eurovision Song Contest. The Shin and Mariko are interesting because they use nonconcurrent polytonality.

The Eurovision Song Contest is a singing competition, not whatever the contestants seem to think it is this year. A wise man once said that all history is the history of the Eurovision.
