Signal Papa November
Signal Papa November is a constant broadcast from an old Numbers Station. It was used by the Chinese millitary during the Secret Invasion of the United States. Papa November is one of many, but it is infamous due to the fact that it has become something of a meme as it has consistently disrupted pirate Ham Radio broadcasts in MC-1, despite the fact that the signal is located in Washington D.Cwhich is one of the US states not to be re-classified as safe to repopulate (known as the Cursed Earth. The broadcast, which started in 2007, has not stopped for over 50 years, even after the Great War. The location of the is believed to be in a drainage chamber underneath what is now a pile of rubble in Arlington.
The Justice Department have in fact began to investigate the message disrupted a radio system which they used. It is believed that the message is intended for a specific operator, though the contents of the message as well as the purpose of it is almost unknown.
The broadcast is in Morse Code, as follows: -.-. --.- -.-. --.- -.-. --.- -.. . .--. -. .--. -. .--. -. -.-. This signal, CQ CQ CQ DE PN PN PN K, is deliberately hard to decipher. The broadcast has been examined by some Ham Radio enthusiasts, who have worked out that "DE" is a specific address, as opposed to a "calling anyone" message. It was not until 2054 (After the collapse of the Kim Jong-il regime) that a Chinese operator called Zhou Railen revealed "The message was being used to alert the armed forces in Yunnan Province about what the enemies were planning".
