How comes you're not really sure where your head is? Writing better articles, umm, well apparently people like what I cwrite so I'll try and help you out. If you read an article by someone and see a technique they've used that you admire etc, then see hwat you can do with it. It's generally better I find to have some idea where you're potentially go with an article as you start, inspiration is the key. Other than that just pick up cool words/phrases techniques from whatever you read whenever you read, a word in the newspaper may stick out to you, so use it. :P Ultimately it takes practice, it took me at least a few months of hard graft to get my first feature and at least half a year to be "good" at writing articles. Other than that maybe rereading and editing what you've just written is the way to go. That's my two cents anyway, but you're getting better. --Testostereich • (ballsack) 22:39, 28 Yoon 2008 (UTC)

They're both quite hard to define. I personally think the best content of the wiki is filtered into a few categories. Firstly anything funny, not Uncyc funny, but just funny as opposed to satire is always fun. A lighthearted look at things generally wins me over. Secondly anything clever, for example Encyclopedia Dramatica: A Mirror Image or I forgot to remember to breathe, both give you a very good idea of clever surrealism. Self-reerentialism, if done well, often looks both clever and funny - a decent goal. I'm not a huge fan of incoherent nonsense type articles, I like random articles,(check out some of THE's stuff) but nonsense without some form of point to me isn't really worth keeping.
