There had been unrest for some time about the Chuck Norris article, we didn't particularly like it and it didn't represent the big C dude very well. We eventually deleted it on the grounds of "we are not uncyclopedia". (I actually did the clicking)
I'm not really an expert on Chuck Norris but t'would be a good idea if you're gonna make his article to research him and include some decent Chuck Norris quotes etc. -- 07:24, 12 Octodest 2007 (UTC)
- Or as an alternative (which I think is more in the "Illogicopedian spirit"), make it completely nonsensical in that "patented" sense (ie. patent nonsense) that transcends humor of the normal kinds. In other words, avoiding the common cliches, not describing him as an action movie star or as a "kickass" person in one sense or another, but rather doing something much more unexpected and peculiar. Perhaps beginning with something more typical in one place and increasingly turning it into complete gibberish as it goes along, or "parody" the cliches by making strange detractions from them, incoherently changing the description of him and his doings from one sentence or another. I really don't know why anyone put AAAAAAA up for deletion. Out of the repetitive articles here on illogic it is one of the higher quality ones. I voted to keep it and it does follow a site policy of something that is "good to look at or even read". I tried to edit but it said my IP was banned for almost a whole year (it is a shared ip, and I personally never vandalized Illogicopedia). I can't even edit anything but my talk page with my account. I didn't see my username or my IP in the block logs here or the main Wikia, even though a janitor banned the shared IP address.}.
