Forum:Any TV tropes users here?

Last few months I've run across this really fun web site. http://tvtropes.org/

Seems to me that they're a much narrower focus than us, focusing on articles about cliche's, but closely related because so many cliche's are nonsensical if you think about them. :) Anybody else had a run-in with TVtropes? Might be a good place to recruit some new Illogicopedians maybe, like we did with Uncyclopedia at one point. --Nerd42 03:11, 30 Serpeniver 2010 (UTC)

You misspelt "Years". You linked most of us to that on irc many a blue moon ago --Silent Penguin 13:19, 2 Octodest 2010 (UTC)
I did!? I must've totally forgot about that cause I don't remember doing it. --Nerd42 14:51, 2 Octodest 2010 (UTC)
Eh, folks seem to do that all the time. See something, realise something, know something... then they forget, and when it comes again, it perceives as new. More interesting is when the evidence itself is found, removing all shadows of doubt, I knew this. Common phenomenon, but it can be interesting. I reckon it's why some people keep journals. ~ Pointy.png *shifty eyes* (talk) • (stalk) -- 20101002 - 16:33 (UTC)
TV Tropes is horrible. They're so strict. Apparently if you write a story, it isn't notable enough. Icons-flag-au.png Operator XY - (Conversal :: Editations - 7,284 and counting!) 05:58, 26 Farbleum 2017 (UTC)
