Dodongo

The Dodongo is actually a flying pig that explodes when you peck at its tail. Hunted nearly to extinction in their native Mexico, there is a thriving introduced population in Dodongo Cavern, where they serve Volvagia the Undead in exchange for Hylian blood. Although not intelligent by any standard usage of the term, they are a quite clever animal. Maybe you will cook one for lunch.
