| Hey guys theres a new wiki around it is NOT in opposition and its ODDOPEDIA!!!
It's logo is a hammer and it is slightly less insane than illogicopedia but more insane than uncyc.
- uhhh, like, Illogicopedia already does the "not so random stuff", Double vision Encyclopedia Dramatica (a mirror image), Melvin Amsterdam, most of our currently featured articles and the irc quotes are already an example of this. If you are under the misconception that illogicopedia only does random strings of text, then you are mighty wrong, like the EDers are. For those of you who don't know, our original specification even included the more logical randomness. I honestly can't tell the difference between illogicopedia and Oddopedia, and neither can the wikia staffers. Looking at your request page and what the wikia staffers have said to me, they where under the impression that you would be doing a site about real life bizzareness. To back this up, it is apparent you are borrowing ours and uncyc's articles. The point of our spooning is that we borrow articles that don't have a place on uncyc, We have an agreement with them to take articles we deem fit for our wiki that they deleted. They call us their recycle bin, the admin's dredge through the mirror of uncyc looking for deleted articles that are worthy of space on the wiki. If you can raise some valid points as to why it is different then fair enough, but from what I can see, it holds articles we would already accept, I hope i'm making sence, please don't see me as some sort of hate figure, im willing to listen to reason.--Silent PenguinLeave Me Alone 16:39, 8 Jeremy 2008 (UTC)
- I'm completely with Seppy on this one, I've always tried to promote the semi-logical well-thought out stuff on illogic above the stupid streams of mindless text/spam that usually finds it's way here.
