Gurple is a word with only two purpose. One is so that there's a word that rhymes with "purple". The other is as a placeholder for absolutely any word.
That's it.
Example of someone using the word "gurple": The kid's cheeks were purple; he didn't have enough... *forgets the word "oxygen" exists* ...gurple. RHYMED, LOL!
Another example of something that could be called “gruple” and perhaps said thing being the reason why the word became a thing in the first place:
- …is that fruit looking thingie up there? Well ok, uh, if not that or not even a fruit at all, hmmmmmmm let’s see, how about this down here:
- This pink (altho not purple like some gruple, not like the previous thing was purple, it was navy blue…) & chewed gum looking thing is what this “gruple” thing is, but ok how about something that’s, I dunno, I guess “purple”:…
There ya go, more like something that feels, just feels like something that can be called a “gruple” or the word “gruple” comes from this… but wait… What if this fabled “gruple” isn’t a fruit or food at all!? Hmmmmmm…
