Oh, Christ, it's huge news in the US among American football fans. Fan, of course, is short slang for fanatic, which a lot of them are. So, this meaningless event happened, the balls were purposely deflated to below regulation pressure. During cold weather, this makes the ball easier to handle, apparently. So, both teams would benefit, since all could more easily handle the ball. Well, the quarterback on the team of accused cheaters, a nationally recognized top player, supposedly knew about this, but did not actively participate. I don't know why this matters either. Here in New England it's a fucking huge thing, apparently. So this guy Brady was suspended for 4 games, which is huge income lost for the poor bastard. He's taken it to court, and I guess there's supposed to be a ruling on Friday. Obviously, I give precisely zero fucks about this, or any other sports, for that matter. Hope that helps.
