Domains[edit | edit source]

The CatBrowser accepts just .cat, .meow and .lol domains. Any others aren't allowed.

Description[edit | edit source]

This browser has been maintained for 25 years. There are three editions: Business Cat Edition, Beta Cat Edition and Normal Cat Edition. The homepage for this browser is set to the Government of Catalonia, the only country ruled by cats at the moment. The initial maker of this browser was a cat named Tom, after he wanted to make a page that Jerry couldn't access. Then he made fun of Jerry and Jerry hit him with a pan. The official language of this software is lolcat.

History[edit | edit source]

The first webpage opened in CatBrowser was Scratch, where Tom downloaded the Scratch Cat in order to test his browser. It all worked well. After that, Tom opened an account on Twitter and stated "I love eating birds". Then he tweeted another tweet that said "meow meow meow meow".[FIBBER]

The first .cat domain that was opened on CatBrowser was jerry.cat, which featured various pictures of Jerry drawn as a cat. This was later taken down, after Jerry sued Tom for "what the hell mate".

The most visited .cat domain is cat.cat, getting over 200 thousand visits every day.

There was an exception for the "only cats can use CatBrowser" rule in 2006, when Jerry accidentally visited jerry.cat from Tom's computer, and saw many images of cute and yummy mice from around the world, which was what some other cat turned the website into. This incident resulted in many cats leaving the CatBrowser, but after realizing that there is no other platform, they came back.
