I have no idea what to write
I Have No Idea What to Write: The Autobiography of an Illogicopedian is the best-selling confessions of a prolific Illogicopedia editor.
Background[edit | edit source]
Following a spell of writer's block, A.N. Editor, one of Illogicopedia's greatest minds, decided to pen a reflective book on the subject. The project took seven years longer than originally planned. He contacted many publishers, wondering whether there would be interest in such an obscure topic, to which some of the responses were "So, kinda like 50 Shades of Grey?", "Wait, you're serious?" and "I'd have to talk to my boss... Oh god, oh god no, no, he's dead".
A.N. thus decided to distribute the book himself. He managed to strike a deal with Big Issue, whereby homeless people would throw in a free copy with every magazine they sold. Unfortunately, the phrasing was misunderstood by sellers, who physically threw the book at every person who bought a Big Issue from them.
Reception[edit | edit source]
Critical reaction to the book ranged from "orgasmic euphoria" to claims of contemplating suicide. Hugh Jinventorie of The Telegraph described it as "Better than having sex with a velvet cloth", while a review by New York Times movie buff Lou Pohl consisted entirely of the phrase 'Save yourself', repeated 700 times.
