"Democracy?" I'm sorry, but I can't quite grasp this concept of power invested in the people... oh, you mean rich and powerful people? Now that makes a whole lot of sense.

- I agree with both of you. While most European countries (particularly Sweden, Norway, and Iceland) are able to sustain true democracies, other countries are subject to the influence of capitalism, mostly in the form of corporations expanding their influence and either impoverishing such countries (Bolivia and their current water crisis, which was exponentially worsened by French drinking-water corporations spreading their influence to there [watch the film FLOW: For the Love Of Water whenever you can: http://www.flowthefilm.com/]) or ridding the people of their rights when said corporations take over and/or collaborate with the government (The United States) on a constant basis.
