So I've been going through my old articles looking for possible EPICs...
Though THE said, "Use your judgment" on EPICS I'm so borderline on this. It's about 30 bytes less than the EPIC Tree Hunt! which, let's be honest, is that many because of titles. So can someone (other than Ben) help me on this? --T3 21:25, 28 Jumbly 2009 (UTC)
- Meh, just tag it already :p -- Hindleyak Converse • ?blog • Click here! 21:27, 28 Jumbly 2009 (UTC)
- I'm pretty sure I said it elsewhere, but it's not bytes that make an epic. It's love. Or more importantly Illogicopedia:Epic I'd say Tree Hunt is probably as short as it should get but yeah, this qualifies. 21:28, 28 Jumbly 2009 (UTC)
Heh, all this furore over the 'Epic' status of this article and not a single comment on good taste... or rather, bad taste. :P -- Hindleyak Converse • ?blog • Click here! 14:09, 25 Yoon 2010 (UTC)
- Um... I don't know what you're implying. The article itself is in horrible taste. I mean, it's a story that relies on nothing but making fun of the mentally handicapped and pregnant teenagers. --T3 06:54, 27 Yoon 2010 (UTC)
I laughed at this article and I don't know why. Does this make me a bad person? ❦ Flyingcat (meow?) 04:09, 7 Jumbly 2014 (UTC)
- Probably. I wrote it, and I genuinely am ashamed/feel bad about writing it these years later. I refuse to reread it to see how bad it was. I mean, it has the word "Retard" in the title. --T3 06:12, 7 Jumbly 2014 (UTC)
- Well... my opinion is highly likely to be worth about as much as a pack of rabid cow pies, but I think that maybe if you hadn't said that Maggie had Down Syndrome, it would be okay. From what I can see, she doesn't have Down Syndrome; she has Exaggerated Retard Syndrome, which appears to be very different and not particularly realistic. Possibly not realistic enough to be offensive. I probably do overuse the word 'retard' myself, though, which makes me a retard. At least according to UncycBot, who is not a person of high intelligence.
- I have also heard from more or less reliable sources that making fun of just about anything is ok as long as you make it funny. But what is funny? It's all in our heads. And of course we're all raving mad, aren't we? ❦ Flyingcat (meow?) 18:16, 7 Jumbly 2014 (UTC)
- You perfectly summed up why I'm not proud of it. I honestly believed that I was writing about someone with mental disabilities, when I clearly wasn't. It's whatever. There are more important things to worry about than things you thought were okay when you were thirteen. --T3 19:06, 7 Jumbly 2014 (UTC)
