[This template must become easier to use.
Die Verwendung dieser Vorlage musst einfacher gemacht werden.

- When an admin gets round to putting Kamelopedia in the interwiki table, it will be. However, as it links to articles which will usually have a different title, the Template obviously isn't as simple to make as the Uncyclopedia or Wikipedia templates. --Ben Blade 18:57, 26 Jeremy 2013 (UTC)
This template has become way, way overused.[edit source]
Having this template at the bottom of articles that directly have to do with Germany in some way is reasonable. Pasting it at the top of random articles all over the site is not. There are a crap ton of languages and are we doing to do this for every language that happens to have an article about the same subject? Hell no. Someone needs to get that crap cleaned up, and possibly even delete the template entirely if that happens to be easier. See Illogicopedia:No_Total_Crap#No_spam. --Nerd42 (talk) 21:46, 25 Yoon 2013 (UTC)
- The template should be replaced with the much more common [[de:(article)]] usage. It is not unusual to have a language link. Having it with a site logo however is. Especially on top of a page.
This is tantamount to an Oscar Wilde quote on practically every Uncyclopedia page. There is a sister site agreement with KP. They have not reciprocated with English links however. I think a steward, perhaps Carlb or Cartoonisthenning can make the de: usage into an Illogicopedia reality. A final note, the KP template has a link to Nazis. Many people do not appreciate this and maybe it should be removed. Thank you.208.54.35.189 00:23, 26 Yoon 2013 (UTC)
- Uhh, there's supposed to be Oscar Wilde quotes on practically every Uncyclopedia page. It's Uncyclopedia. But I don't remember this "sister site agreement" saying anything about treating this or any German language site any differently than any of our other alternative language sister sites.
- I can understand an automatic association of Germans with Nazis would be offensive .... if this were Logicopedia. Since this is Illogicopedia, if we talk about Germans at all, then it's going to be nonsense, which is probably going to involve Nazis. It's not meant to specifically demean Germans -- it's just that what there is there to make fun of is getting made fun of. Sorry, but that does seem to be legitimate nonsense and nonsense is what happens here. --Nerd42 (talk) 01:29, 26 Yoon 2013 (UTC)
Originally this was going to be used on articles where a 'German view' would work for comedic purposes, I agree that it's been a tad overused however. An admin should get around to adding Kamelopedia to Special:Interwiki and then we can chop down the template to the desired pages. -- Ben Blade 12:51, 26 Yoon 2013 (UTC)
Problem solved[edit source]
Or so it seems. The template now only links once to a Sysop discussion page. The template is now converted to text on four more. Perhaps now the template can be huffed, as it seems to no longer be necessary.
