Hello and welcome to Illodge. Feel free to edit everything and destroy the world! Well, don't do that. That would be immoral. Play the games, read the forum, read the harticles, WRITE ARTICLES and mutter! Do whatever you please. Just don't talk to a guy named Harry. He will eat your soul and take you for ransom! Just ignore him. He lives in the bottom of the sea next to a pineapple. Yes he's in that famous cartoon, Super Mario Brothers.

Hey wait a minute... are you a ladygirl woman[1]?We don't have many of those round this joint. It's a sausage fest, so you're more than welcome to pick and choose from us all. I'm only kidding, you're not like that are you?[2] But seriously... pick and choose... [3]O_o DG |Chatty Chaps| 17:58, 23 Serpeniver 2009 (UTC)

Hang on - I be also a ladygirl woman, but I ain't partakin' in no sausage fest[4]. Oh, and hi, Kate. We should celebrate our ladyship together. Seems appropriate. --That creepy old pirate, Decks (talk) 01:18, 8 Arply 2013 (UTC)

Welcome, again[edit source]

Welcome back! Make yourself at home. Not much has changed since 2009, although wiki activity is, shall we say, reduced somewhat... --Ben Blade 18:41, 23 Jeremy 2013 (UTC)

We also have this userbox which is similar. --marbury (talk) 01:58, 9 Aym 2013 (UTC)

Also, I tried to make you an userbox column to help you keep them together, but it didn't turn out exactly how I planned. I don't know where there are two big gaps between two of the userboxes. I'm sure it is something in the formatting, but I couldn't figure it out. Anyway, use it if you want. Or not. --marbury (talk) 08:10, 21 Aym 2013 (UTC)

hi there[edit source]

I welcomed you to Logimalpedie recently but I didn't realise you were an established user at English ?pedia. I am sorry if my message sounded a bit patronising - in any case it looks as if we could have done without that bit, but I still thought it was proper to welcome you. We need all the users we can get at this point; you may have noticed that the place is a bit dusty these days.

Thank you for supporting my request for an admin hat. I hope Hindleyite gets around to checking on it. Flyingcat (meow!) 20:03, 28 Yoon 2013 (UTC)

Are you Kate Susan?[edit source]

If so, I'd like to ask you why you don't think I should have redirected all those articles to the Main Page. I think it should be made clear that Wackypedia is inactive. If you want it to be active, fine, but you are in a very small minority.

I am sorry if I went about things the wrong way somehow. However, it doesn't seem right to me to leave all those pages just there, with no indication that Wackypedia/Illogicopedia had moved on. Do you think that, somehow, it is still an active wiki and the articles should not be redirected? Do you think that the content should be left up for archival purposes? That seems kind of silly; Illogicopedia has the same articles and anyone could easily copy content from there to here. Or do you just want to write articles as if the wiki were active? That doesn't seem like it would be a whole lot of fun. I know what it's like to be the only editor of a wiki. It does not feel good. Assuming there is a more active version, you should concentrate your efforts there. Unfortunately the other inactive wikis I have edited are not like that; but Illogicopedia is. It has an active version. Why, then, are you editing the inactive one?

In case you are confused by this, I own the accounts 'Cuillère sur plancher' and 'Foofoofoo', and my IP address is 99.241.177.184. I admit I have engaged in some sockpuppetry, and I am sorry, but it was not totally intentional.

If you are not Kate Susan from Wackypedia, please disregard the above.  Flyingcat (meow?)fr: 02:45, 18 Jumbly 2013 (UTC)

Fliegende Katze, talk to User:Angela (at Wikia) about removing the wiki, if it is such an eyesore to you. This "ghost town" will do well to have a singer like Phyllis Hyman to be its spokesperson (LOL).

Spam users[edit source]

Since you seem to be able to identify these, I can't fathom why you made this edit unless you did it just for the pleasure of reverting me and calling me an idiot. Please don't call other users names, and perhaps more importantly, don't welcome spambots - never mind revert to your welcome message - as that just makes one more page for the admins to delete.  Flyingcat (meow?)fr: 20:07, 8 Novelniver 2013 (UTC)

Kellyisms[edit source]

As a fan of Married With Children, I admire your desire to add Kelly Bundy quotes into articles. --Mars Cadbury (talk) 13:54, 23 Novelniver 2013 (UTC)

Template spam and disruptive editing[edit source]

I'm sorry to say but I'm quite sure that is what you are doing, and I'd go into why but you have a history of refusing to listen to explanations of things. I don't know what your point is, but edit warring and disruptively editing to prove it is not good. If you keep at it, on this wiki or another, I may either request that you be blocked or do it myself, depending on the case. This has gone on for quite some time now.  Flyingcat (meow?)fr: 19:27, 24 Novelniver 2013 (UTC)

I see that your response is to continue to revert my edits. Would you like to prove that you are capable of listening to others, or do others' opinions not matter to you, even if those opinions get you blocked?  Flyingcat (meow?)fr: 19:34, 24 Novelniver 2013 (UTC)

Kate's response to the above section[edit source]

You are the disruption, actually. All the {{:Kamelopedia}} templates were already there for months. Your removal of white space is also unappreciated. Yes, indeed, the Alicia Keys accounts, both on Mirror Uncyc and right here are mine. Also, the account Fr:Utilisateur:Phyllis Hyman as well as the Phyllis Hyman account on Mirror Uncyc are mine. But is English? Pedia the place to discuss off-Wiki topics? Why do you think the "Kate and Wackypedia" or "Phyllogicopedia "forum was removed by Ms.A?Lastly, you have declared on the shell, Phyllogicopedia /Memory Phy that youare actively trying to drive me off this site. I guess that's more important to you,Llwy ,than even school is.

Kate (talk) 20:20, 24 Novelniver 2013 (UTC)

I see you've taken the time to answer. I appreciate that, but your response is somewhat lacking. The fact that the templates were there for months does not preclude the possibility that they might be worth removing; see template talk:Kamelopedia for why I decided to remove them. Saying that my removal of white space is 'unappreciated' (by you, of course; who else would care?) is a silly enough argument that I refuse to dignify it with a response. As well, you do not need to proclaim that those accounts are yours, as it is quite obvious, though I appreciate the gesture. Finally, you have opened and closed your comment by calling me a disruption and telling me that I am trying to drive you off the site, but you have never provided any hard evidence as to why. If you can show that I am being disruptive that's cool, but so far you are only throwing out unfounded personal attacks, which is making me even more sure that you should be blocked.
You are also more than welcome to present your case here, though I doubt you will succeed in convincing anyone of anything if you continue to make ridiculous accusations and refuse to back them up with diffs, or even a coherent statement of what your complaint is.  Flyingcat (meow?)fr: 20:26, 24 Novelniver 2013 (UTC)

Chat room[edit source]

Kate, can you go to our chat room for a minute? http://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=illogicopedia I would like to talk to you if you have some time. --Mars Cadbury (talk) 22:43, 25 Novelniver 2013 (UTC)

Again, can I talk to you in chat for a minute? I'm there right now, it would be real simple. --Mars Cadbury (talk) 16:55, 29 Novelniver 2013 (UTC)
Sorry, I can't access chat on here, however the significant reduction of the KP template seems unanimous, especially with the new :De: available. You can actually use your e-mail feature, even if you create an address just for your communications here.

Any particular reason you saw fit...[edit source]

to revert an edit from our founder? In lieu of a reasonable explanation, it's irritating. Stop doing it. LAR Adriator-Gruntled.png 04:11, 27 Novelniver 2013 (UTC)

I didn't see a revert - I saw Kate adding a stub template and then you removing the template and locking the page. I'm slightly confused.  Flyingcat (meow?)fr: 16:53, 27 Novelniver 2013 (UTC)
<sigh> On the one hand, I was mistaken in my assessment of the situation. I thought Hindleyite had removed the stub template in his edit. In fact, the article never had a stub template until Kate added one.
However, I stand by my removal of the stub template. Since none of the veteran ?pedia users who edited this page put a stub template on it, it is reasonable to assume that they considered it complete. I myself have written some articles here which are very short.
The reason I locked the page was to send a visceral message that I am serious about this to the extent that I protected the article to prevent a potential edit war/pissing match. Experience has taught me that being subtle, or even simply obvious when trying to make a point, can be a burden on some users. By "some users", I mean disruptive or potentially disruptive users. I say this because I've been reading some of the comments here between and about users flyingcat and kate, and they harsh my buzz.
?pedia is neither Wikia nor a repository for mental diarrhea. Rather, it is a wiki with some basic rules, an expectation of civility, and most of all, illogical (and with luck humorous) writing. So, let us have clear dialog among users concerning administration, but mostly, let's try to have fun.
Having pontificated to the point where I have bored myself to bloody tears, let me go on to say that I am embracing my inner dick as per zimizmizm in good faith and with good intention. If no one snickers a little at what I've written here, well then, shame on me. I share Athyria's sentiment that we should try to get along, but I am also amenable to wielding my admin hammer when irritated. Cheers! LAR Adriator-Gruntled.png 18:47, 28 Novelniver 2013 (UTC)
Ok. Sounds fine to me. I'll try not to harsh your buzz. Kate does seem to like adding stub templates and I suppose in some cases, like this one, they are inappropriate. I fear this may one day have to go beyond full protecting a page or two. In the meantime, though, I completely share your feeling that we should have fun.  Flyingcat (meow?)fr: 20:23, 28 Novelniver 2013 (UTC)
Hey, just chiming in here with a little titbit of info. Whats kamelpedia? --Fnewsig1.jpgFnewsig2.jpg 22:55, 30 Novelniver 2013 (UTC)
It's a German version of ?pedia. Seems to be anyway.  Flyingcat (meow?)fr: 23:48, 30 Novelniver 2013 (UTC)
Would you kindly reply to the below section, or at least tell me if you're purposely ignoring me?  Flyingcat (meow?)fr: 23:37, 2 Ditzimber 2013 (UTC)

Global blocks[edit source]

Thanks for cleaning up the templates, but there's something else bugging me. (Yes, it's about another wiki, and I can't edit it so I have to talk to you elsewhere.)

I've tried to talk to you before about removing or modifying my global blocks, and you reacted by deleting my comments and blocking a big chunk of my ISP. You have removed several blocks I made or modified, twice now, without giving a reason. I am willing to work with you on this if you can explain what you are doing, but since I've tried to get you to explain and you refused to, I'm starting to think that you're removing the blocks because I made them. That is not a valid reason. I don't think I should have to explain that - it's just common sense. It also says here that "Except in cases of unambiguous error or significant change in circumstances dealing with the reason for blocking, administrators should avoid unblocking users without first attempting to contact the blocking administrator to discuss the matter." and, even though we are not Wikipedia, this also seems like common sense to me whether the block is local or global; and yet you removed the blocks without saying a word to me about it.

I'm making one last attempt to get you to explain what you're doing. You may contact me through email if you prefer that way. If you can't or won't explain yourself this time either, I will take this to the next level.  Flyingcat (meow?)fr: 17:28, 1 Ditzimber 2013 (UTC)

thingy[edit source]

I know I've probably bothered you enough, but it seems rude to start a discussion about someone without notifying them of it, so...consider yourself notified. You can comment here or there if you like but please, please don't comment on some other random wiki I happen to use or I will block you again. (Yes, again.)  Flyingcat (meow?)fr: 16:05, 13 Ditzimber 2013 (UTC)

Template:Noun[edit source]

So you don't believe me when I say you messed up the formatting. Look at my user page. It transcludes that template several times. See that funny looking text on a grey background? See those extra line breaks that don't belong? That's what you did to the template. And it's not just my user page. Look at what transcludes that template. All those pages are now messed up. You see? You did the same thing to User is blocked/admin. It's fixed now, but for a while there User is blocked had this weird line break after the blocking admin's name. That was bad.

And about your reason for making the edit, you must not have listened to what I said. These users' names are just random phrases or made up words. How is, say, 'electrified mocha chinchilla' any more obscure than 'banana penguin', or 'zombiebaron' than 'carrotify'? Nobody who doesn't visit Uncyclopedia will know. And having to give consent is just silly. Is there a rule about that anywhere? There isn't, is there? No, there is not. You don't make the rules here, so don't go around trying to make things follow a rule you made up.

That is all.  Flyingcat (meow?)fr: 19:00, 27 Ditzimber 2013 (UTC)

In some cases, a white space can ruin a transcluded item, such as a template. However, using a name, even if it's a derivative, can be considered an invasion of privacy. There is also the issue of whether a person is yet 18. Consider how you felt about French Phyllogicopedia's École article. If you used Boobnoob, or a derivative, I would not like that. Using Phyllis Hyman is OK, because she has a Wikipedia article. However, a derivative, such as Phyllis Hyman Troll is not. Do take care not to use other people's names, even a silly one.

Kate (talk) 20:30, 27 Ditzimber 2013 (UTC)

Lots of things can be considered lots of other things, but this one isn't here so you might as well stop worrying about it. Putting someone's random phrase name in a random template is very different from creating a page that consists entirely of personal information about someone. I am going to revert your edit again because you haven't given a real reason for making it. Please try to let go of the idea that you have to ruin my fun, as that is exactly what you are doing and you are, I believe, fully aware of that fact.  Flyingcat (meow?)fr: 21:15, 27 Ditzimber 2013 (UTC)
Both of you should stop edit warring. It's silly and reached the point of it being extremely lame. For the record e|m|c and SOAUR are both like 20 something, but it doesn't mean you need to keep changing it back. Do you see Gruntled, Awesomedecks, Mars cadbury or myself reverting 2 edits back and forth over and over because we think we're right and someone else is wrong? No, because we write stuff and if something gets added to or removed from a page we wrote, oh well thats just how a wiki works. Ranting aside, get along please because edit warring is an excellent way to get banned. ~Sir Frosty (Talk to me!) 22:01, 27 Ditzimber 2013 (UTC)
Yes, get along, ignore one another or take a vacation from ?pedia. Or risk a ban. This bickering has grown past tiresome. I haven't been following the back and forth, and really don't understand what you two are arguing about. If there are questions about the wiki, we have forums. I refuse to waste any further time on this, and won't be looking into the history of this feud. It's your bad luck I was grumpy when I came across this edit.
The next whiff I catch of silly reversions or otherwise wasting database resources (sort of like throwing away all office supplies because you don't like their colors, rather than exchanging them for something in colors you like) may set off my banhammer. LAR Adriator-Gruntled.png 14:50, 28 Ditzimber 2013 (UTC)
I revert edits that break templates and don't really be constructive. That is pretty much it. 99.240.218.250 18:32, 29 Ditzimber 2013 (UTC)
Also, for what it's worth, Frosty has blocked Kate for 6 months on Uncyc. [1] Don't know how much this has to do with anything.  Flyingcat (meow?)fr: 18:36, 29 Ditzimber 2013 (UTC)
It takes two or more to bicker. I was talking to you too, Flyingcat. LAR Adriator-Gruntled.png 15:34, 30 Ditzimber 2013 (UTC)
