This page documents what purports to be Illogicopedia policy, as applied by the powers that be. Ignore at your own risk, but be aware that, according to Admin laws, the Werewolves are open to bribery, |
This policy page aims to clear up the details of the rules and how they are applied, so that you better know what to expect and where the lines are drawn, ie. something becomes forbidden. It also describes to some extent what is considered good form when editing. Being an important part of the principles this wiki is operated in accordance to, you are encouraged to share your ideas of what should go here with the administration.

What is Illogicopedia?

Illogicopedia is wiki project for creating an insane repository of words put together in no particular order.
Fundamental rules

Illogicopedia's fundamental law is contained in the Eleven and a Half Suggestions Commandments of Illogicopedia. Generally, anything goes as long as it doesn't cross these.
We want amusing content

Illogicopedia is supposed to be amusing, a word which here means, "interesting for other people to look at and possibly even read".
We don't want total crap

We don't accept content that we technically define as "total crap". This means stuff that is completely boring and/or has absolutely no redeeming value. Our standards are pretty low. In fact, we purposefully make them so low that just about anyone can write stuff for our web site without worrying about it too much. But we do have standards.
We can change stuff, warn ppl, and ban ppl

Some kind of order will be maintained, usually in a rather pragmatic and informal way. Also, the site and its content and standards may shift over time, and some help can be requested if needed.
