Sensible Section

This is a statement of intent from MrMetalFlower.

I have been noticing a gradual slip of quality of articles over time and I am just letting you all know that I am going to be a great deal less lenient. Too many articles nowadays are based on chaining nouns (e.g. "fish bucket moon door cheese said the drawer because of cows moose porn porn porn muslim") or repetition (see: my consistency in trash-marking DragonForce).

I will henceforth be improving the quality of articles and/or adding deletion / trash tags.

I am hoping this starts some form of revolution:- there are not enough adequate articles in Illogicopedia.

Also, as a final point, I shall be reincarnating the old Subbuteo vs Super Japan format and applying it elsewhere in Illogicopedia:A Political Proposition.

I am all for Subbuteo revivals but just be careful, people have different ideas about quality. Just a gentle reminder, try and be inclusionist - it is the Illogic admin's job to try and save an article rather than delete it. Just as a side note I won't be reviving subbuteo vs super japan... but I will be reviving the old "One side vs Another war"... I'm thinking about using the current Ducks vs Anti-Ducks thing.

I'm not joining anything, (In the least so if I screw up I can't be kicked out of something) But good for you! Quality should always be improved and in the end there is only really need for one repetition article. I'll try my best to not create crap articles or edit current articles into junk (In the off chance I get bored and edit ?pedia). Consider me a joiner in spirit and not in body. I wholeheartedly join this 2nd illogilution and would, after some talks on irc, suggest the following: Wikia staff can make us different namespaces. I would like to create the Illogictionary-namespace. It would be an alphabetically ordered collection of one-liners and very very short articles. This is a good way to get a lot of too short articles out of the article namespace, and would be a perfect tool for a clean up. For the creation of the namespace the community has to agree, naturally, so please state support below if the idea is

appealing to you.

As a veterano Illogicopedian just returning to his desk I condone and whole-heartedly support this revolution. Er, lol. I'm all for editing ?pedia, and I agree about the whole "QUALITY OR GTFO" thing. It's neccessary; though I don't do much admin work around the house, I'd like to start to, since I often have the free time for it between programming and other activities, so therefore I'm all for it.
