Talk:Waverley Communist Propaganda

If this school happens to teach Humanities, then it can most certainly be Communist, depending on their emphasis on Humanities. 04:38, 31 Aym 2016 (UTC)
- They do, like any self-respecting school. But it is by no means the emphasis of the curriculum. Operator XY - (Conversal :: Editations - 7,284 and counting!) 04:54, 31 Aym 2016 (UTC)
- Then that makes my school one of roughly 20 other schools in the Los Angeles Unified School District that would be deemed "self-respecting." 05:23, 31 Aym 2016 (UTC)
- 20?! Either that, or the others don't have enough budget. Operator XY - (Conversal :: Editations - 7,284 and counting!) 06:05, 31 Aym 2016 (UTC)
- My bad. It could be either 40 or 50, but that's still a relatively low number when you consider that there are thousands of schools within one of the largest school districts in the world. Since California is a cradle for technological innovation (the Internet and the personal computer was invented here, CalTech can still go toe-to-toe with MIT, Google was founded here and is currently headquartered here, Silicon Valley/Palo Alto still houses Apple Inc. and IBM, among other things), a STEM curriculum has a stronger emphasis in schools as a result of this. 01:31, 1 Yoon 2016 (UTC)
- And what did Melbourne ever give the world: Not much, unless you count Dame Edna Everage, Crossy Road and the International Comedy Festival (and Montreal's is bigger). Operator XY - (Conversal :: Editations - 7,284 and counting!) 01:40, 1 Yoon 2016 (UTC)
- It's kinda ridiculous, really. If California was a country, it would have the 7th greatest economy in the world. That's one place over South Korea! South Korea! Even with Samsung and LG and Kia and Hyundai, South Korea is one place behind California!
- On the downside, South Korea has 5G internet in the more populous cities, and even though California invented the Internet, we're still stuck with varying internet speeds. How ironic. 02:01, 1 Yoon 2016 (UTC)
- You see this? It's a lie, an absolute lie. Operator XY - (Conversal :: Editations - 7,284 and counting!) 02:38, 1 Yoon 2016 (UTC)
- Is this a lie too? 04:57, 1 Yoon 2016 (UTC)
- Yes, because Vivid is using false advertising: they actually need NBN fibre-optic services to ensure that everyone can get internet. As you can see, my school might be Communist, but the internet systems are anything but. Operator XY - (Conversal :: Editations - 7,284 and counting!) 22:48, 1 Yoon 2016 (UTC)
- False advertising? Are you sure there isn't any fine print? A buttload of wireless and cable companies here in America would've been accused of false advertising a long time ago if they at least didn't include the fine print at the bottom of a TV commercial or billboard advertisement. 00:30, 2 Yoon 2016 (UTC)
- Well, the ads on TV say, 'No fine print. No additional catches. Just good internet.' If you have NBN, then yes, but no otherwise. Operator XY - (Conversal :: Editations - 7,284 and counting!) 01:39, 2 Yoon 2016 (UTC)

This talk page has more content than the actual subpage itself.[edit source]
So... since your school is "Communist," have you learned of the atrocities of our Dear Leader Chairman Mao? 00:28, 3 Yoon 2016 (UTC)
- If you mean the principal, that's Mr. Kelly, not Chairman Mao. Operator XY - (Conversal :: Editations - 7,284 and counting!) 07:10, 3 Yoon 2016 (UTC)
