127.0.0.1 is a "special" IP - it is used by computers to refer to themselves. In other words, banning it would ban the server, whatever that would result in, if anything. --Fluffalizer 20:02, 10 Arche 2008 (UTC)

Meh, he's simply messing with us, as far as the IP goes. I doubt he'd expect anyone to actually block 127.0.0.1 (or maybe he would - what do I know?). In any case, as the server itself doesn't have any user on this wiki (unless a Wikia server script edits as a user at some point), I doubt it'd have an effect. Uncyc blocked 127.0.0.1 for some days at one point, then a Wikia admin unblocked it. --Fluffalizer 16:43, 13 Arche 2008 (UTC)
