Try to expand your musical horizon.

Enjoyed the first 20 seconds. Had nice, bass-heavy sounds throughout the entire song. However, from 0:40 to 2:25, this was by far the most abysmal and uninteresting portion of this song. Thankfully, by the end of those four monotonously repeating notes, the song picks up on some nice bass and resumes the basic but not bad drum beats. The rough-sounding synths could definitely be seen as a hit or a miss, depending on the listener, since they could either be a good aspect of the song or an aggravating part of the song. They'd still love the bass, though. 5:10 to 6:00 is an unnecessary and somewhat disorienting departure from the flow of the song, and it also reintroduces the four looping notes that were used from earlier. it would be best not to reutilize the weakest portion of a song. Although you subsequently revert to the core structure of the song that you introduced at 2:25, by then the listener is feeling as if there is actually hardly any variation in the overall structure of the song; it is repetitive. But, there's still the bass. I will be honest in saying that the ending (starting from around 7:20) is relatively weak since there is nothing but random synths blaring here and there, which creates an unpleasant rhythmic dissonance.

For a good drum rhythm, give the vid below a listen (unless you can't handle metal). Just don't plagiarize it. 06:00, 26 Octodest 2017 (UTC)

A grunt of acknowledgement

Veni, vidi, ego audiebat. I heard some interesting phrases and patterns, but this seems like a work in progress. What equipment and apps are you using? Do you have any ideas of where you want this tune to go? I myself am a newb to recording and production, so I don't have any other notes right now. I will follow what you put here and try to be helpful I imagine that as I continue to work on my stuff I will be able to become more helpful over time. Cheers and best of luck! I have some familiarity with electronic music. There was something about this song that vaguely reminded me of d'Eon, which then made me think that "Transparency" might give you some ideas about how to use loops without the listener thinking that you're just repeating the same thing over and over. Stuck-together pieces

There seem to be elements that were placed incorrectly throughout this song. Although these elements succeed in creating a strained sense of urgency as if it is reaching a dramatic climax that will determine if evil will prevail or not, there is just too much going on once you bring them all together. There are no opportunities to let these elements have their own say, so they instead compete for attention until they end up sounding so overly cacophonous that they end up sounding muddled together. Yes, the previous sentenced has poor grammar and Grammarly didn't even pick up on it. Oh well.

On a serious note, this song did get pretty dense, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. If you were going for an avant-garde cacophony, nice work, but if you want a wider listener base, I'd suggest figuring out which instruments/tracks are most important and then turning the volume down on everything else.
