Forum:8,000 article target for Christmas?

Hi everybody! Currently, we are on 7,915 articles or something. Would you think it would be realistic to have 8,000 articles by our 5th anniversary (1st Jan 2012)?

- Honestly, I write a lot less than I could when there's a contest. Why? Lack of motivation. When there's a contest, I'm only motivated to write one article, whereas if there isn't, I could write a few over the course of a couple days. —rms talk 03:30, 4 Octodest 2011 (UTC)
