[Using Roman numerals in case the fundies get to me]
Since my last post of this nature, I seem to have found something even WORSE than the MLK website.
It's this: [1]. A fundamentalist Christian website, that takes the usual hyper-Christian cliches, and cranks them up to XI. I don't even need to explain why this is horrible, but the right to freedom of speech allows it to exist.

DAMMIT I was doing OK this month, getting out of bed most days, even showering sometimes, and then this.
I did NOT need to know about this website. Thanks a lot (not). Snarglefoop (talk) 19:16, 26 Serpeniver 2016 (UTC)
These guys are the reason why Evangelical Christianity is seen as a religion for nationalist Trump-supporting hicks who continually rant about a supposed "liberal agenda" (when in reality they should be ranting with the rest of the world about the neoliberal agenda) rather than a peaceful religion.

Roman numerals are from Rome. Catholicism is inside Rome. Something QED. Cg098 (talk) 04:34, 5 Octodest 2016 (UTC)

The Sun is a solid ball of rock![edit source]

For decades there have been issues with the "official" explanation of the Sun, which is that it's just a big gas bag.

But now, finally, we Know! It's not a big blimp after all -- it's a rock!

Yes, indeed, the Sun is a solid ball of (hot, glowing) ferret ferrite, with a gaseous atmosphere a few hundred miles thick.

The scientific evidence is apparently irrefutable, and you can learn all about it on this conveniently located web page, directly accessible through your very own favorite web browser:

Chemtrails are no longer a hazard![edit source]

Have you been worrying about chemtrails? Are you concerned about the health hazards posed by these diabolical streamers of hard drugs, aluminum dust, and naphthalene which are spewed from U.S. military jets disguised as Aeroflot Dreamliners?

Well, you can stop worrying. Mother Nature has come to the rescue, with high-altitude sylphs. They're just as lovely as the name implies, they live in the upper atmosphere, and for their nourishment, they consume ... you guessed it ... chemtrails!

The more the military maniacs spew unthinkable hypertoxins into our sacred breathable tropospheric envelope, the larger grows the army of sylphs, and the faster they suck up the evil effluents!

You can read more about ... actually, you can read more about it on lots of web pages, because a lot of people seem to know about this. But this page is pretty good for getting an overview (plus it has some very nice pictures of clouds sylphs):

Pornography is good for you![edit source]

And this just in -- viewing pornography on a regular basis doesn't turn people into sex maniacs, murderers, or rapists!

What's more, researchers "found that although consumers of pornography did not display more negative attitudes toward women, they were more likely than other respondents to believe that women should be protected from harm—what the investigators call “benevolent sexism.”" So it turns out that pornography may make you nicer!

For more information, see:

Oh ... wait ... I just realized this isn't a nonsense article, at all. It's totally serious, from Scientific American, and the research in back of it seems solid. So I guess that stuff about porn being beneficial is all true, after all. Well wadda ya know. I guess I shouldn't have included that on a nonsense page.

Ooops, my bad. Snarglefoop (talk) 00:57, 28 Serpeniver 2016 (UTC)

Christian view of rock[edit source]

There's this film about the evils of rock music, produced by Christian fundamentalists. And this as well. Both are terrible. Icons-flag-au.png Operator XY - (Conversal :: Editations - 7,284 and counting!) 05:22, 12 Jeremy 2017 (UTC)

Humans do strange things. Some of them think they know something special, which makes them better than others. Others want to make you like them, or consider you subhuman, and so worthy of no regard. Perhaps some day a majority of people will live their lives with reason, logic and compassion, and those other folks can wallow in their own misery or smarten up.
