Phil O'Sophy is an Irish drunkard who was born in the year 1111.

He considers such general and fundamental questions as the sorts of things that exist, the nature and scope of knowledge and moral judgements, and the nature of mind and language.

He is commonly confused with Dr. Phil and Philosophy, but he is neither stupid nor intelligent enough to be either.
