Also, I see you are starting an epic. I have some suggestions:

1. Use dialogue. It helps add content. And, if you you make a new paragraph for each new person talking (which you should anyway), it adds length.
2. Cut in jokes, like the OMG Scary Alien. They take from the effect.
3. Take a look at works of THE, he's a damn genius when it comes to EPICs. Use his writing style as inspiration.
