I dunno, can you write scripts that are smart enough to make up for inconsistent api results? The scripts I have were written with a working server and intact database in mind, and while the server here may currently be working, the database is another matter... do we care about our logs or deleted edits? Maybe, but we should be able to import whatever is done here without too much trouble regardless. This isn't actually going as well as I'd hoped, and yet it's still better than I expected - we got most of the edits (still need deleted edits, though anything revdeleted is apparently gone because I'm too stupid to work with that) and the logs (including the ones off wikia, which should help confuse people, though unfortunately nothing goes back any further) and the files, and the site is running and stuff, but... well, still need the infrastructure for the users and file usage, and extensions, and the images from the shared repository (which, in true carlb style, isn't set up properly, so I need to find a workaround for that, too)... thing is here, though, if you want to see slightly broken version of exactly this minus the last few edits and sans logins. Naw, that's just a placeholder URL I threw on that server because it wasn't being used for anything else at the time; we may not even be staying with Uncyclopedia, but it's as good a place as any to get the database assembled and such, especially since they'll be needing the same infrastructure set up anyway.
