Dastardly charming and restructural anomalies can supplant their diffused ordinances without a blatant neglect of cornered fallout fragments protruding from a liver's thumb (blackened, mostly, but it had this weird colloidal quality to it that just evinced the most grotesque memories of matriculation), but the former solitude enabled through the coarsely-ground fresheners supplied by molting bovine crustaceans (heinously hyper dogs can be suppressed with heir glowing oils, but only for a candid moment) can no longer suffice for a fine grain of rice that has been tapered and catered to with the fine-motor skills of a severely epileptic primate that's missing a finger. The ones from the store down north can alleviate the pains in your lobes for a while longer, but the senile machinations of the executioner's sword (Pfizer's at Mexico now, ironically) wouldn't free you from harm at the gates of alluvial divination. Let's try not to ulcerate the magistrate for a mile, alright?

I was merely trying to delete a page I had created minutes earlier. The abuse filter shouldn't block somebody for blanking or otherwise vandalizing an article if they're the only one who's ever edited it, or if they are the creator, both of which apply to my scenario. If somebody could explain if there's another way to delete your own article, I would love to hear it. }.

You can't delete pages unless you're an admin, sysadmin, or bureaucrat

If you wish to have a page deleted, you can simply mark a page with a Quick Deletion template by typing {{QD}} in the page. An admin (most likely me) will come by and delete it promptly. Or, you can also drop a message on an admin talk page requesting the deletion of a page.

The abuse filter is in place for blanking because Illogicopedia is prone to aggressive vandalism in the form of articles being blanked. Thankfully, none of that has happened this month, but it is still a measure that has to be taken in the interests of Illogicopedia. This, however, is the first instance of a benevolent user inadvertently tripping the filter. One of the admins around here that's more adept at code than I am can probably make the necessary adjustments to it in order to prevent any other benevolent users from getting blocked in the future.

Reverting vandalism tip

So I saw one of your exit summaries said you were copying and pasting because you can't rollback, but it may be slightly quicker to just click save once you get to the page that has the wikitext for the last good revision, rather than copying and pasting it into the current version. (And even if you do get rollback some day, this is still useful to know because rollback sometimes gives Internal Errors and throttles you.) CG098 (talk ₪‎ contribs) 17:43, 9 Octodest 2019 (UTC)

ooh, compsci. that sounds like fun. (took that class last year, 'twas pretty easy) and i'm also getting a job as well, (summer custodial work. it'll be more fun than it sounds, i swear). also, *quickly checks sig code* it looks complicated, but i think it's in the css. (i have another sig that has the same code)
