The Illogicopedian of the Month award covers article writing ability but also encompasses all other aspects of Illogicopedian culture.
Until the last day of Arply, users may vote and/or nominate a user which they feel has made significant contributions to the wiki this month. Contrary to popular belief, a single user can win the award more than once. In other words, who has made you laugh the most in the last few weeks? Who has impressed you most with their wiki coding? Who has been most proficient in reverting vandalism?
Oh yeah, and don't vote for someone just because they're your mate or something. They have to, you know, deserve a Golden Banana. From doing good stuff.
We ask those who didn't win to console themselves in the fact that there is always this month. But, congratulations to our latest winner of the Illogicopedian of the Month award, Apathy, who receives the rather amusingly (and tastily) shaped trophy to display on their userpage forever!

As well as being named the Illogicopedia Writer of the Month, winners will receive:
- An amusingly shaped trophy and the right to display it on your userpage.
- A kick up the backside from everyone else.
- Becoming a Phantom, which awards quick rollback ability and half a vote on all voting pages.
- A Ferrari! It's invisible, though.

- Warning: long explanation ahead. Right, you cheeseballs. You've had your fun with this Nobody/Apathy business, but here's somebody that will knock the socks off both of those guys. I'm gonna do something a little bit different than usual, thinking out of the box, so to speak. I cannot read Norwegian, but it doesn't take a multilinguist to know that Cartoonist has done a wonderful job over at Artigpedia, getting it off the ground and generally maintaining things nicely - he's also managed to rope in some new users along the way.
- Now you may say, "but Yak, that's not Illogicopedia, that's Artigpedia and they have their own awards, don't they?" Well, I'm not sure they do, but certainly Henning deserves at least some credit in the Illogicopedia community for what he has done. The other language Illogics are as much part of Illogicopedia as fnurdles and Bcbkye. DGNeree as well, though I'm putting up Cartoonist for IOTM because of the amount of work he has done in the past month. On top of that, he's been an active contributor to the Illogiblog, which has experienced an activity spurt in the last couple of months.
