Forum:A tribute to those who have fallen
A tribute[edit source]
There was a day, not long ago. That this site was a thriving wiki with a prolific population that spread insanity all over the internet through our banana land. There was a time when passionate zealots fought for their rights. I remember an uprising of ducks. I remember the illogic that was so vibrant and free. So this is a tribute to those who have fallen into the past. Those who brought Illogica to its peak, the ancestors, our founding fathers. I have a dream that some day, this site will reach its former glory. A glory that will be eternal.--|Fonchezzz| Quacking| 02:24, 7 Ditzimber 2012 (UTC)

- We need Robot Police to FORCE people to edit! And compel them to keep trying all day if the server goes wonky as it habitually always does! --Nerd42 (talk) 16:24, 7 Ditzimber 2012 (UTC)

- You raise a valid possibility. I have myself pointed out in the past that the way to get the existing admins to appoint more admins is to recruit more vandals for them to ban. --Nerd42 (talk) 05:27, 13 Ditzimber 2012 (UTC)
- Goody, I'll get my old sockpuppets out so it really will be just like old times! Incidentally, I attempted to explain the concept of white hat trolls to my parents the other day, something I wish I had never done. :P -- Hindleyak Converse • ?blog • Click here! 22:03, 3 Farbleum 2013 (UTC)

You raise a damn fine point, Fonch, one which I have myself pondered over. But the 'heyday' (in my hollow opinion) was almost five years ago now, you've gotta take a step back and realise that in this time people have grown, or possibly shrunk, and people have naturally moved on.--Ben Blade 00:34, 15 Ditzimber 2012 (UTC)
- @Ben Correction: most people have naturally moved on. This wiki still has me and everyone who's commenting on this thread. ~[ths] Keeper of the Bloodwine

- Being ?pedia, perhaps it would be more in keeping with our prime directive to call it a "hayday". Also, as a Newer and Better Englander, I too will spell it "realise", defying the wishes of my America-biased spell check. And is that 5 years in doggie years? My beard has grown, but not moved on. Oh, and isn't "moving on" an unnatural act, like having tea with ponies?

Keep on dreaming that dream. But do you mind if I call it "Bananaland?" It looks better, somehow. Like Wonderland, or Marineland, or Buttnugget. ~ The Bard of Illogicopedia 18:47, 19 Ditzimber 2012 (UTC)
