Talk:Shrimp paradox
yeah, but this statement could be a lie and thus false...robk?
This isn't a paradox. It says, If ~A then B. ~A ∴ B But 1) ~A is a weaker position than simply A, i.e. the premise is that the statement is not a shrimp which is ostensively apparent so it's meaningless when you would simply say 'It is a statement' so the premise becomes simply, A. There is no need for negation. 2) The premises do not follow from each other. If not a shrimp then it is not a paradox out of necessity. You can't simply state that it is a paradox when one is not entailed as the result of the structure of the logical argument. The structure here is simply as above, If ~A then B. 84.233.202.2 10:41, 18 Octodest 2010 (UTC)
- That looks like logic. Why are you attempting to apply logic? ~ *shifty eyes* (talk) • (stalk) -- 20101018 - 16:13 (UTC)

I actually laughed at this. That hardly ever happens to me here thanks to site policy and polici-ticians. Go RMS! ~ The Bard of Illogicopedia 19:13, 10 Jeremy 2013 (UTC)
