First, I'll state that I almost certainly won't become as active as I once was; that said, I may drop in from time to time. So perhaps a semi-rare occurrence. (less rare than during my time of no activity, though that isn't saying so much)

The reason I gradually phased out my involvement here was simply that I felt it time to move along; I've enjoyed my time here, and it seems you people did likewise - it was the combination of having less time and having to juggle more things, which is still the case, and also things getting a bit stale: Looking back at the first things I wrote, they (though often short by present standards) were at the time quite original; since, editing, both mine and that of others, seems for the most part to have become increasingly mechanical and formulaic as people formed and settled into habits.

If I come up with something for me newer and more unusual, I might get writing for a bit again - sort of like the very last articles I made. --Fluffalizer 12:10, 24 Aym 2010 (UTC)

Welcome back

My ulcers have been rather flamboyant with their leather recently. Too bad their subservience can be had for so long before the curdles vilify themselves for any period of time that happens to be longer than fluorescent lighting. 20:20, 16 Farbleum 2019 (UTC)

In the past few years, so much stuff has built up in my mind that I decided to return here. All that thinking has to go somewhere, and this makes for a good start. When I left, I'd mostly run out of things to elaborate into illogi-text, and the mental world of my old illogi-adventures had gone stale. Now, I'm also clear on what I actually find funny and worthwhile – stuff which is truly unexpected, and/or thought-provoking even if the reason is hard to define. Yeah, I decided to delete it. Seeing that there's an external wiki like that makes it clearer that it should remain closed (unless redone genuinely differently).

For the record, the history of the Illogicopedia store is that of popping up shortly after other things, where sockpuppets (unnamed LTA) spammed stuff imitating other wikis and references to wikis among other things. That included another similar store except without Illogi-theming. But when it appeared, IllogiStore looked a bit less like that and fulfilled the "interesting to look at" criterion for content at least.

I decided that as long as it remained firmly Illogi-themed, why not let it be? But then it grew, several new accounts including sockpuppets began editing it and edit-warring with other members, and it just became a pain. Just like the earlier sockpuppets which tried to add lots of junk en-masse and doing it over and over, I'm banning whoever pops up with similar behavior regarding this. --Fluffalizer 13:20, 2 Jeremy 2026 (UTC)
