The PSAT is an optional preliminary test taken by high school students like me that are meant to simulate and prepare for the SAT, which is the test that is required to enter any college or university. It costs $5 for freshmen, free for sophomores, and $15 for juniors. Seniors don't take the PSAT, because they take the actual SAT. "SAT" actually doesn't stand for anything anymore, but it used to mean "Scholastic Aptitude Test" and then "Scholastic Assessment Test" in the early 20th century.

High school students have been creating memes about it because it is an extremely overhyped test, and here's why: even though your PSAT scores will not affect your actual academic grade at all, your scores are looked at by universities across the nation. If you score very well on at least 2 PSAT's, they start bugging you to join them. Additionally, it also determines your eligibility for National Merit Scholarship Program, which is what my previous and current high school is always bragging about.

Just out of curiosity, given our considerable age difference, what kinds of shows did you and XY spend your childhood watching? For me there were a bunch of Cartoon Network shows around about kid secret agents and super powered kindergarteners and people that go on tours and what have you. We also had the same cartoons you are alluding to (Avatar: The Last Airbender, Codename: Kids Next Door, Danny Phantom, and The Fairly OddParents, but I don't know the others), but there was also Chowder, The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack (which I know you and Trippy Flower watch), Regular Show, MAD, and a whole lot of other shows. I stopped watching Nickelodeon as soon as it started to be dominated by live-action shows. And don't get me started on the Disney Channel.
