And unfortunately I don't know how to properly track it because global rule hits don't seem to show up properly anywhere. >.< The chicken tag seems to be the only way to get around that. Oh, tried to say this before but I guess I forgot to save it or something: The filter was an attempt to track folks who don't put spaces after periods/commas, because they're usually spambots. yes, I did that to start with. See her talk page. I suppose my comments there sound rather harsh but I've had a hard time assuming good faith in her ever since she told me to go fuck myself because I wanted to remove the content of the wikia forks and she wanted to turn them into Phyllis Hyman quote repositories. I made a sincere effort to explain myself to her about that but she was having none of it, and I've kind of lost confidence in her willingness and ability to have serious discussions, particularly with me. Okay, so you record it with a mic and some software, save it as an appropriate file type (I think we support ogg or mp3 but I'm not entirely sure but special:upload should tell you what all it accepts), link it on the page either with a template if we have one (or make one - uncyclopedia probably has one or two that could be yoinked though they may not be very good), or just with a regular [[media:blah.whatever]] link thing (description is at file:, to play it use media:, is how it goes I think), and... er... yeah, it's legal. Might want to make sure you set the file to the same license as the text, and make sure it's labelled what it is and where it came from, but... yeah. -— Athyria 06:48, 28 Novelniver 2013 (UTC)

Apparently it was wrong of me to ask you to do stuff on wikipedia, so I'll ask you here instead.

• The global w: interwiki prefix. There are some pages whose titles began with w: and were linked from MediaWiki:Anontalkpagetext, and now the links go to nonexistent pages on wikipedia. You can still see those pages here and here. I think either the prefix should be removed or the pages should be moved, and I'm not sure how you move the pages when the interwiki prefix exists; it says there's no target.
• Diff styling. MediaWiki:Common.css has a piece of code that makes diffs not look 'ugly'. Now that we're not on carlb's servers and have a newer mediawiki, the default diff styles should look like the ones on wikipedia. I don't think this is ugly enough to merit custom diff coding, so could you please remove the code?
• Interwiki prefixes to Uncyclopedia and UnMeta. There are some links here that start with uncyclopedia: but turn red because there's no prefix (the prefix is u:), and there's no interwiki prefix for UnMeta. Are you willing to add uncyclopedia: as a global prefix for uncyc and meta: or unmeta: as a prefix for UnMeta? It would make things easier.
• This UnMeta forum about Kate, particularly this section where I think I've proved pretty conclusively that she was responsible for this vandalism. I have not yet run a checkuser on all the other 'Carlb sucks' vandal accounts on Uncyclomedia wikis but I plan to soon so we can be more sure of stuff, and I'll throw together a list of IPs. I don't know what should be done in light of this, but I think we may want to consider the fact that she is also nominated for IOTM. (And has been for several months.)

1. I moved those pages at W:c:Whatever to Help:Why create an account and Help:Create an account, respectively. That reminds me: the [[Help:]] namespace really should be Halp: here, no? No? Ok then.
2. I got rid of the diff styling.
3. I added unmeta:, and uncyclopedia: already exists in the database. Unfortunately, there's some sort of bug going on. I'll get back to you on that.

There are no results for dreammachine but a hellofa lot of other things named Ariss (including a radio-scope project, and some video game). Terms by themselves don't usually raise a chuckle for anyone. They need... context. Placement. For the adolescent, adolescence is a placement. For the person seeing the word 'grip' repeated 200 times on a single page in an entirely serious manner who then starts staring at it funny everywhere they see it written out after that, well, that is placement too. I don't know where I was going with this, though. It might have been somewhere. Might have been nowhere.

I have missed you too. That would mean that our relationship has the attribute of reciprocity. I have a thing about reciprocals; I view them as one of Natures little artworks. So, the elephant cannot be blamed for its mayhem, nor can it be praised for being where nobody knows it is. Irregardless, I still endow elephants and many other nonhumans with personhood. It's just that they are different kinds of persons than we are, and cannot presume to assume. Daji

I've always wondered what that cool-looking thing in your signature was, and it seems to be called a 'daji', but when I looked up Daji it turns out she was actually a concubine of King Zhou who liked torturing people. That description doesn't fit your pretty symbol at all; why, I should think your symbol would be a paragon of niceness, wisdom and carrots, and besides, Daji doesn't seem to have had anything to do with it anyway. So, pray tell, is this a different daji you somehow stumbled on, or is there something else I'm missing? I know I'll always be missing something, since I don't know anything and this whole world is a sparkling web of lies, and we're all doomed, but you could at least make me feel a little more enlightened. My daji is two 'S's crammed together. I needed an icon for something (probably testing-related), and so I just used that. And then I used it as my signature and stuff. Hell if I know. Site logo replacement

Naw, that's already set up to use wiki.png - the issue is probably just that your browser has the previous version of the image cached and mw doesn't have any smart way to tell the browser YO NEW VERSION RELOAD THIS. Try right-clicking on it at the File: page and seeing if there's an option to reload the image; it should eventually reload for everyone over the course of hell if I know, but they'll see it sooner or later.
