Silicon
Silicon is an element used for stuff that's probably beyond your comprehension. Don't feel bad, because it's beyond my comprehension as well.
Silicon formed Silicon Valley in a violent reaction with oxygen. Oddly enough, those are the same chemicals some women put in their breasts with the intent to make them bigger. It does the opposite. I don't even know why anyone would want an element with the Lojban name cancmu anywhere in their body.
Scientists debate each other over whether silicon is a unit or not. These discussions only make sense in Spanish, especially if you don't understand the language.
What else is silicon used for[edit | edit source]
An incentive for Elon Musk to colonize other planets, I dunno. It's going to be hard with all the aliens who infiltrated SpaceX, who are indistinguishable from quality employees, but whose true aim is to keep humans on Earth. Due to the nature of science, you can only tell good-faith work apart from disruptive work long after the fact (and that doesn't apply to wikis, obviously).
