Fancy having one of these on your mantelpiece?

At the start of 2012, Illogicopedia turned five years old. Instead of throwing a stonking great party with haddock curry and banana pizza (although you're free to organise that yourself at your own house if you want), we're celebrating with a good old-fashioned sophisticated awards ceremony. But we need your help. You see, we can't just pick great articles and users out of thin air to randomly award. This isn't 2007, you know, and things have progressed somewhat. This is why we're giving you, the Illogicopedia users, a chance to reward your peers with more meaningless fantastic accolades the likes of which even Tom Cruise would turn his nose up at kill to have on his mantelpiece. And he probably will, so keep away from Hollywood for a few months if you value your life.

It's all pretty self explanatory. Simply follow the voting/nomming regulations on each individual category, and feel free to add your own categories to the Pick of the Bunch awards, should you feel the urge. Above all, remember to have fun, luvvies!

The Top Bananas

These are 'officially sanctioned' Illogicopedian awards. Usual etiquette from IOTM please, and don't go mucking about or we'll send in the clowns.

Best Article

This is it, the ultimate accolade. What, in your humble opinion, is the best article to ever grace the pages of the Illogicopedia? Don't worry, we won't punish you for spurious suggestions, as long as they are honest. And oh yeah, don't nom your own stuff, because that's not sporting is it? To get you started, check out the list of Illogicopedia featured articles.

She gave the most bans for 2011, got promoted to an admin in a few months with tireless stuff I could do in my sleep grunt work no one else wanted to do, and produced a few articles that are not as crappy as mine. • NOM and VOTE. I checked the other day, this guy's on something like 25,000 edits. The only admin to be here from the start and maintain a visible presence throughout the entirety of the wiki's life, in my view there's no one more deserving of this award and the subsequent userpage template that'll probably come with it. Protecting the wiki from devestation, and uniting all n00bs within our nation, Hindleyiter admins at the speed of light. And he's prertty nifty with the article writing too. So yeah. • NOM What better way to prove Illogicopedia was finally past its childish throwing feces at walls days than a long and protracted ideological battle over whether or not stark depictrions of the male member should be visible on the wiki.
