Latvia. What do you know about Latvia?

Well it's a country. Like America, but it's called Latvia instead. It is somewhere, but where exactly, nobody cares.

Why Latvia is not Estonia[edit | edit source]

  • Latvia is not Estonia, because Estonia is called Estonia. Estonia is not called Latvia, and Latvia is not called Estonia. If that sounds cumbersome, it's exactly what CNN is doing with their #FactsFirst campaign. Not so silly now, is it?
  • Estonians speak Estonian. Latvians speak Latvian. Same thing there.
  • Both Latvia and Estonia use the euro, but they are not the same country.
  • Latvia and Estonia are separated by a body of dihydrogen monoxide, which has prevented them from crossing.
